WHY WE SERVE

Serving is joining the heart of Jesus who said he came "not to be served, but to serve." In serving we build friendships and get to use our unique gifts and talents. There's a spot for you and we want to help you find it.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

SERVING OPPORTUNITIES

Facility Services

Our facilities team is made of people that have an eye for detail and heart for excellence. We have several opportunities throughout the week for you to serve at our campus doing things such as touch-up paint, light cleaning, straightening chairs, etc.

Administration

Office Volunteers work alongside our Office Administrator to assist in paperwork, filing, organization, errands, and other clerical duties as needed.

Church Leadership

The church council exists to create and supervise the strategic plan for an effective congregation. The church council as a group reflects the character and population of the congregation. Decisions made by the council will shape the future and demonstrate for everyone how God’s kingdom comes in the immediate community.

Mother's Morning Out

Classroom volunteers collaborate with the teachers to create a safe, positive, and stimulating classroom environment. Tasks include assisting with classroom management, playing with children in activities and outdoor play, and engaging in conversations during mealtimes and transitions.

Camp Able

Our volunteer team works year-round to create a week full of fun, laughter, and endless hugs for people of all ages with diverse abilities and the volunteer staff that serve them.

Habitat for Humanity

Within the mission and ministry of Habitat for Humanity there is a place for everyone to share their time, talents and treasure. Some volunteers pound nails or use a paintbrush, others participate in family selection or work in our ReStores. Each person is vital to our mission of eliminating poverty housing in Collier County.

St. Matthew's House

Once a month, you and a small team will prep, serve, and clean dinner for up to 400 guests. The best part about having The Common Kitchen is that we’ll eat around a common table. At the end of the day, we hope this experience provides a look into the reality that we are all more similar than we are different; just people that are ready for a good meal.

Our Daily Bread

Our Daily Bread Food Pantry exists to offer nourishing food choices, encouragement, and hope. Our Volunteers come from all walks of life and possess a variety of skills, talents and expertise. While Marco Island is seasonal as are many of our loyal Volunteers, hunger does not know the season and the Pantry needs Volunteers year round.

Lead a Group

Do you have an idea for a group? It could be centered around a bible study, book group, or activity. We would love to work with you to make your vision a reality.

LoveAbles

Relationship and understanding are at the heart of LoveAbles. Our goal is to establish a community of unconditional love, compassion, and acceptance. We meet most months for fun and engaging activities that are designed to foster a spirit of community.

GoKids

GoKids is our ministry for kids in pre-k - 5th grade. Wesley facilitates this ministry in partnership with Capri Christian Church.

Sunday Services

It takes many volunteers to coordinate and execute a Sunday Service. Greeters offer warm welcomes and provide great hospitality. The creative team is composed of vocalists, instrumentalists, and readers who provide key elements of our service. The technical team offers audio, lighting, and video support for the service.
