Garden of Memories

The Garden of Memories, a final resting place for the cremains of Church members, family and friends, was the inspiration of Louis B. Nichols. It is licensed by the State of Florida through Wesley United Methodist Church and has been in use since 1977.

Not only is this site a cemetery, it is also a place of prayer, contemplation and small group devotions. There are benches located throughout the Garden for this purpose.

An important site within the Garden is the Memorial Plaque Kiosk. The Kiosk has memorial plaques for all those whose cremains are in the Garden. One of the walls of the Kiosk has the heading In Remembrance of . This wall has memorial plaques with names of those buried in Garden of Memories elsewhere, but whose loved ones wished them to be remembered here.

An important part of the Garden is kept in the Church Office. The Book of Names is a

fascinating piece of Church history and may be viewed by anyone who requests to see it. Information on burial in the Garden of Memories is available from the Church Office.

The Garden of Memories Board welcomes additional gifts of money but does not solicit funds to help maintain the Garden.
